1bottle dry crisp white winesuch as a Sauvignon Blanc or Spanish Albarino
¾cupCointreauor other orange flavored liqueur
¾cupfresh orange juice
2tablespoonsfresh lime juice
1tablespoonfresh lemon juice
1cupfruit of choicesuch as a mix of raspberries, blackberries, mango, or apricots or peaches if in season
In a large pitcher, pour the wine, Cointreau, and juices. Stir, and add in the fruit. Refrigerate until cold and serve with plenty of ice.
*The flavors develop as it sits, so I recommend making this at least two hours ahead of time and letting it chill down in the fridge. It is not overly sweet, so if you like your Sangria on the sweet side you can add agave syrup to taste.
